Governor Terry McAuliffe has threatened to shut down Virginia if the General Assembly does not pass a budget that approves Medicaid Expansion. As you know, Medicaid Expansion is a key component of Obamacare, and a first step to its full implementation.
The Republican Committees of Waynesboro, Augusta, Staunton and Highland have joined Republican Delegates in the Assembly to oppose the Governor’s threats. To do that, the Committees decided to create a radio ad campaign to alert the people of the Valley that the Democrats in Richmond were holding them hostage.
The Committees wrote the ads, raised the funds for air time, negotiated with radio station 970 AM, recorded the ads and delivered the payment, all in ten days.
On Monday, a heavy schedule of ads will begin and run for two weeks.
The Republicans in the Valley are Virginians with steel spines, who say to Terry McAuliffe and his gang, Sic semper tyrannis.
Here is a picture of Georgia Long, who recorded the second of three ads.
