003On Thursday, July 28th the Waynesboro Republicans held their annual picnic.

Because of the heat and the forecast of strong thunderstorms, the picnic was held indoors at the home of Ken and Sandy Adams. Ken is the Chairman of the Waynesboro Republican Committee.

Despite the weather, twenty people attended.

The food was plentiful and delicious. But, the best part of the evening was the fellowship and the talks. Ken was an Alternate Delegate at the Republican National Convention which was held in Cleveland. He described what it was like to be part of the event.

Scott Sayre, the Chairman of the 6th Congressional District Committee spoke, as did Dickie Bell, our representative in the Virginia House of Delegates.

It was a wonderful evening.

Perhaps, you have been considering joining the Waynesboro Republicans or volunteering to work during the Presidential campaign. If that is you, we cordially invite you to attend a meeting of the Committee. You will find a warm welcome among good folks.
