Waynesboro Republicans Take On McAuliffe

013Governor Terry McAuliffe has threatened to shut down Virginia if the General Assembly does not pass a budget that approves Medicaid Expansion. As you know, Medicaid Expansion is a key component of Obamacare, and a first step to its full implementation.

The Republican Committees of Waynesboro, Augusta, Staunton and Highland have joined Republican Delegates in the Assembly to oppose the Governor’s threats. To do that, the Committees decided to create a radio ad campaign to alert the people of the Valley that the Democrats in Richmond were holding them hostage.

The Committees wrote the ads, raised the funds for air time, negotiated with radio station 970 AM, recorded the ads and delivered the payment, all in ten days.

On Monday, a heavy schedule of ads will begin and run for two weeks.

The Republicans in the Valley are Virginians with steel spines, who say to Terry McAuliffe and his gang, Sic semper tyrannis.

Here is a picture of Georgia Long, who recorded the second of three ads.

This proposal is a grand example of wealth re-distribution, with money being taken from the Middle Class and given to multi-million dollar hospitals.

Ben Franklin’s Solution for Poverty

Franklin2On Nov. 29, 1766, Benjamin Franklin wrote for the London Chronicle: “I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. — I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.

In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

Boehner Should Be Removed As Speaker

John Boehner is the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the leader of the Republicans in the House.

On Tuesday, February 12th, Boehner agreed to pass another – yes, another – increase to the Debt Ceiling. By surrendering to Obama, Boehner has proven that he is not opposed to the President’s program of endless spending, financed by debt. Rather, he is a supporter of that program.

It is time for Mr. Boehner to be replaced as Speaker. In January, Republican members of the House will elect their leaders for the new session of Congress. If 15 Republicans do not vote for Boehner, the Republicans will need to choose another Representative as their leader.

The Waynesboro Republicans will support the effort to remove Mr. Boehner from his position as Speaker. He has enabled Obama’s takeover of the Federal government as exemplified by his passing this latest increase to the Debt Ceiling.

Benghazi. We left Americans to die.

BenghaziBenghazi – A Bump in the Road

President Obama referred to the Benghazi incident as “a bump in the road.” How cruel and how uncaring.

I weep for our country.

BATTLING BOYS OF BENGHAZI

We’re the battling boys of Benghazi
No fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell
Defending our country we loved so well.
It wasn’t our job, but we answered the call,
Fought to the Consulate and scaled the wall.

We pulled twenty Countrymen from the jaws of fate
Led them to safety, and stood at the gate.
Just the two of us, and foes by the score,
But we stood fast to bar the door.
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied,
So we fought, and we fought, and we fought ’till we died.

We gave our all for our Uncle Sam,
But Barack Obama didn’t give a damn.
Just two dead seals who carried the load
No thanks to us………we were just “Bumps in the Road”.

Harry Blackmun, the Author of Roe v. Wade

images[6]Harry Blackmun wrote Roe v. Wade, a monstrous lie.

On January 22, 1973 the Supreme Court, with its Roe v. Wade decision, overturned abortion laws throughout the United States. The judges, who voted for abortion, asserted that the Constitution required that abortionists be permitted to ply their grim trade.

Nearly everyone, then and now, even those who support abortion, fully understands that a right to abortion does not exist in the Constitution. Such a right is a fiction, written to force on the country a policy that would never be allowed by democratic votes of the people.

In time, Roe v. Wade will end. History proves that great evils always end eventually. Sadly, the list of victims is long, already over 55 million, and that figure does not include the women who are, indeed, victims just as surely as the babies.

Posterity will remember Harry Blackmun as America’s Grim Reaper. It is a legacy he fully deserves.

Members of the Waynesboro Committee are encouraged to attend. As our Committee grows in size and influence, it is important for us to meet and connect with others in our District.

We do not want to be low information voters, and we do not want to low energy Republicans.
